Mr. Casey is a leading expert in the energy utility industry with an outstanding record of driving growth and earnings both organically and through acquisitions, and is a partner of Acuity Partners.

As the founder and CEO of SourceOne, Mr. Casey was responsible for the overall management and technical efforts of the company. He successfully raised equity investments, targeted and acquired complementing businesses, and created a leading energy services company that is now recognized internationally. Under Mr. Casey’s direction, SourceOne created award winning sustainable energy projects and secured high profile multi-million dollar energy efficiency and infrastructure contracts within both the private and public sectors. After SourceOne was acquired by Veolia Energy in April of 2007, Mr. Casey continued to grow SourceOne over the next several years, realizing double digit growth in both revenue and earnings.

Mr. Casey has deep project management and managerial experience in critical infrastructure assessment, sustainability initiatives, reliability projects, and asset optimization. He has also served as the technical lead on many data-center due diligence assessments and acquisitions, where utility and energy infrastructure requirement densities far exceed typical requirements for commercial industrial asset foot prints.

Mr. Casey received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Power Systems & Delivery from Northeastern University . He is a frequent guest lecturer at various industry events and has authored several articles, including one on the 2003 Northeast Black Out. He has been active in many industry associations, including Governor Mitt Romney’s task force on Electric Reliability, is a current member of the Northeast Energy and Commerce Association, and serves on the Board of Cantega Technologies.
